# OpenClaw

> Connect Portfobit to OpenClaw with browser-based OAuth.

OpenClaw connects to Portfobit's Streamable HTTP MCP server with browser-based OAuth.

## Local interactive install: OAuth

1. Add Portfobit with OAuth authentication:

```bash theme={null}
openclaw mcp set portfobit '{"url":"https://mcp.portfobit.com/v1/mcp","transport":"streamable-http","auth":"oauth"}'
```

2. Start the OAuth login:

```bash theme={null}
openclaw mcp login portfobit
```

3. Sign in to Portfobit in the browser and choose the scopes you want to grant.
4. Ask: **“Use portfobit to list the account connectors I can connect.”**

If an existing configuration has a static bearer header, remove it before logging in with OAuth.

## Remote or headless server: Bearer

When OpenClaw runs on a VPS, in a container, or without an interactive browser, configure a dedicated least-privilege Developer API Key instead:

```json theme={null}
{
  "mcp": {
    "servers": {
      "portfobit": {
        "url": "https://mcp.portfobit.com/v1/mcp",
        "transport": "streamable-http",
        "headers": {
          "Authorization": "Bearer <PORTFOBIT_API_KEY>"
        }
      }
    }
  }
}
```

Replace `<PORTFOBIT_API_KEY>` at deployment time. Keep the completed configuration out of source control and logs, and revoke the key from **Dashboard → API Keys** when the server is retired.
